DARPA Partners with QC82

College Park, MD – November 1st, 2023 – QC82 announced that it was awarded a contract by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The contract will evaluate designs for quantum computers that promise true utility with the goal to determine if a utility scale quantum computer can be built much faster than conventionally predicted. QC82 will be devising a conceptual design for a utility scale quantum computing and developing its proprietary high-efficiency photon detection technology at room temperature for scalable photonic quantum computing.
